Who's selling. Salt Lake Monthly is sold by Cale Cromar, a one-person business in Murray, Utah. It's a printed newspaper of free events and places to volunteer in Salt Lake County, mailed to you.
Prices. A founding subscription is $10 a month. A single issue is $12.50. Postage is included. Checkout shows any tax before you pay.
How the subscription bills. You pay $10 when you sign up, for Issue 1. Then your card is charged $10 on the 1st of each month, starting Dec 1, 2026, and each charge pays for the next issue. It renews every month until you cancel. No minimum. You'll get an email 3 days before each charge, and 7 to 30 days' email notice of any price change.
How to cancel. Sign in to your account on this site with your email and a 6-digit code, open Subscriptions, and click Cancel subscription. It takes effect right away. Or email saltlakemonthlypaper@gmail.com and I'll cancel within one business day and confirm. Canceling stops all future charges. An issue you already paid for still mails to you.
Shipping. US addresses only, by USPS First-Class Mail. Issues mail around the 18th to 20th of the month before the month they cover. Issue 1 mails Nov 9, 2026 and covers Nov 14 through Dec 31. Moving? Update your address in your account by the 15th.
The presale. Issue 1 prints only if enough people order by Oct 27, 2026. If it doesn't, everyone who paid is refunded in full by Oct 30, 2026, and every subscription is canceled. You don't have to ask. If Issue 1 will be late, I'll email you before Nov 9 with a new date and the option of a full refund.
About the listings. I check each listing against the host's own page before it prints, but events change and other people run them. Check with the host before you go. I can't promise an event happens as listed or answer for how it's run.
Limits. For any order, the most I owe you is a refund of what you paid.
Changes. If I change these terms, I'll post them here and email you first if it affects your subscription.
Law. Utah law governs these terms. Nothing here takes away rights your own state's consumer laws give you.
